League Notes:

  • Format: 5-on-5 on the field with a 5 steam boat rush. Teams will have 4 downs to score a touchdown
  • Length of Season: The season runs for 8 weeks (6 weeks of regular season and 2 weeks of playoffs).
  • Game Length: 55 minute games on turf (including 5 minutes for half-time)
  • Playoffs: The top 4 teams play for the championship, however, all teams get 2 weeks of play during the playoffs
  • Skill Level: This is a fun, recreational league...please no hyper-aggressive players. There is no blocking or contact allowed
  • Rules: Please review the league rules in our rules section
  • Gender Requirements: There is no female requirement in this league. Females are welcome to play, but they should be prepared to play against mostly males.
  • Equipment: The league will supply a set of flags & pylons to each team. Teams will supply their own game ball.
  • Jerseys: Teams are not required to have team jerseys, but we recommend teams wear matching shirts
  • Officials: Games will officiated by 1 referee
  • Foul Weather: We play rain or shine (rained out games may be made up on another night)
  • Exclusion Dates: None
  • Other: All registration fees are subject to HST. Your spot is not guaranteed until you have paid in full
  • Deposit: Refundable equipment deposit of $50.00 for teams (deposit will be refunded at the end of the season when equipment is returned)


Convenience fee on credit card payments. When requesting a refund (subject to our refund policy), the convenience fee will not be refunded (as it is not refunded by the credit card processor company on our end).


Average Joe Sports Club reserves the right to switch players/teams into a different division based on numbers and skill levels.

There are no refunds after the registration deadline.
